The Double Poppet Emergency Shut-Off Valve is installed on fuel lines at the island surface level in submersible pump systems. The valve is designed to prevent spillage and other potential hazards in the event of a fire or impact to the dispenser. The Double Poppet valve is designed with a secondary poppet to prevent spillage from the dispenser in the event the valve is sheared. The secondary poppet also features a pressure relief valve to relieve pressure build up due to thermal expansion.

Upon impact, the top of the valve shears allowing the poppet to close and shut-off the product flow. In case of a fire, the poppet will close as the fusible link melts, resulting once again in a safe shut-off of product flow. The seat of the valve is positioned in the lower valve body, which provides a liquid tight seal even if the top is removed.

Features a low profile design, rust resistant epoxy coated cast iron body and top, stainless steel shaft and spring, UL Listed fusible link, 3/8" air test plug, and allows for easy U-Bolt or stabilizer bar mounting.
